The Beautiful Ah Mei Land and her Wonderful Lifesaving People --Part 1

With Blessing from our senior management and the hardworking lifesaving friends from CTWLSA, we 'cheong' to Ah Mei land where its High Mountains are Green and Creek Water are Blue in search of new lifesaving skills and knowledge and most important -- to make new friends that we will be meeting...

Day 1 -- At Changi.... was 'long faced' with the delayed of the Jet kite by 5 hours and 30 minutes..

Nevertheless, still board the jet in the evenings.... telling ourselves to be happy that we are going overseas... Reach Taipei at 00.00 hrs, with Leon patiently waiting for us... thanks Leon..
Day 2, Tying knots, something most of us do not do or learn, especially in Lifesaving.

Learning to tie themselves up and show that they are capable of protecting themselves ...

Learning the art of tying knots from Hui-fei and Leon.
Our lunch, big and nice packet of ribs and chunky fish with soup, not forgetting bamboo shoots...
with lor -egg...

After lunch, adjourned to Wulai, met with heavy shower before we start...
Our girls in their smart, stylo, cool wet suits, getting ready to cross the swift & fast flowing river..

4 silly men call themselves Team Blue Blue, don't worry they are not from G. Club, look at PYJ, how he wore his helmet......

Crossing the fierce swift & fast flowing river, something that you will never get a chance to learn back home, it was tough but we have prepared for it as we have trained hard for the past 6 months, swimming, rowing, stretch cords, weights, running --preparing for this task... and we enjoy every moment cruising down the river ...

Night falls, back to Taipei, as usual like all Singaporeans, we 'cheong' Shih Lin and eat whatever food that we saw...
The famous giant chick steak at $2.20
The famous yuppies drink, not for old man like me...

Fried oysters, sotong with thick gravy...

"Big Biscuits wraps small biscuits'

Well, that part 1...
Thanks
Sim
