Dinner On Sunday!!!
Hello people,
Where would you guys like to have dinner after the still water competition? We will be going there from Kallang Basin Swimming Complex. Below are a few places I have noted. Does anyone have a preference, or any other suggestions?
sakura (orchard outlet) - 26 dollars or so for buffet dinner.
ferntree cafe (hotel miramar) - 25 dollars or so for something or other. the website doesn't make things clear.
river city (excelsior shopping centre) - 20 dollars or so for ala carte buffet, though the portions are apparently small...
suanthai (liang court) - 25 dollars or so for ala carte buffet, same comments as above.
please respond soon so i can make reservations. continue training hard in the meantime. =)

so far got me, CTM, NN and maybe TYR, TWS and WFJ.
no land trg at night

pool training at 1930

there will be no beach training.
pool training at NUS pool, timing to be confirmed

attire: 黑色尊严 (those dun have pls get from me or crystal)
then if we get our costumes and trunks and shirt, pls bring along the blue and white shirt to wear after competition.

SY farewell
Dear ppl,
Sin Yan will be leaving for hong kong for SEP this sunday 240808.
some of us will be sending her off at changi airport, ppl like CTM, NN, NT, CG etc etc...
if you would like to join us, its 1100 at T1.
following which, there is an official course conducted by mr sim at palawan beach that requires demostrators. so far, the ppl are, NN, NT, TYR, JRM, EW and KJ.
sooooooo here are the events upcoming this sunday.
Beach training on sat (last.. maybe got more secret trg)
pool training on friday.

We in the Splashdown 08 committee require help manning the booth for the Sports Bazaar.
Date: 20th, 21st, 22nd August
Location: Central Forum
We need people to man the booth and actively encourage or force people into signing up for the event. This is what we hope to do, at any rate, just that we are rather short of manpower.

Secret Beach Training
Dear ppl who still read this blog,
there will be secret beach trainings this tuesday, and possibly friday morning as well.
we will be using 2 NUS boards and maybe "big white shark". for this coming tuesday slot (190808), there is me, nicky and crystal. if u are planning to join us, pls msg CRYSTAL (lol) so that we agar agar noe who to wait for.
to reiterate, here are the secret training timings:
190808 tuesday
2-5pm
220808 Friday
9-12pm
additional points to note: there is NO land training on tuesday. pool trainings will resume on monday, wednesday and friday.

Simin farewell
Dear People,
simin will be departing on this coming monday 110808 2355hrs for UK for her SEP.
she will only be back in December or January?
a few of us will be sending her off at changi airport on monday nite.
since Crystal is driving, a few of us will be leaving training early, around 9 (i havent tell mr sim yet... hehe) and head to the airport. as of now, there are 3 seats left in Crystal's car. those that are interested in this arrangement, pls inform Crystal or leave ur name on the blog/tagboard.
