Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for a great competition on Saturday and Sunday. It's still one of my first times competing in a sport.
Even though I've only been here for no more than a year, it feels like I've known you guys for ages. This is THE only team I know of, who never gives up cheering, who will always be there for each other and never say die in the face of adversity. In short, a family of lifesavers.
All the trainings, sweat and cuts were definitely not wasted. Everyone had an important part to play. Especially the people cheering. You'll never know how much energy there is still left in your body till you hear someone cheering loudly for you and it is this energy that pushes you to fight to the end.
Regardless of whether we got the medals/overall champions or not, I always feel that the journey is more important than the destination. Life is a journey and death will ultimately be our final resting place but how we run this journey is entirely up to us. I'm glad we've made the journey together this far.
