Post Nationals (part 1)

Team,
this is my 1st post and hence I like to make this a special one.
I was just going thru the photos I've taken and I want to share something that struck me deeply & positively during yesterday's competition. It was not about an ULC member but nevertheless it is someone I think we all can learn from. I happened to snap this picture of SE's Christel Fung congratulating our Xi Yun after the Board Finals. CF came over specially and very quickly to congratulate XY after she found out she was disqualified and lost her gold medal! I noticed CF was genuine and sincere (unfortunately my cheap camera was too slow to capture her warm handshake with a great smile on her face). Maybe it was not my camera but rather me who was stunned for a moment but I was truly impressed with her great Sportsmanship despite her young age and her abilities. Not easy to find such humility especially in star swimmers. She has earned my respect.
ULC, we have been winners many times, mostly worthy (sometimes lucky) winners. I am sure we have won the envy (probably some jealousy too) from many, but I think we will win more hearts if we show that we can be gracious losers too!
