The NTU Lifeguard Corps is currently organising an event called SwimFest 2010 and we would like to invite NUS's Lifesaving team to join us for this event.
There will be a total of 2 different swimming segments held on 29th to 30th January 2010.
The First segment is the Mass Swim, which will be held on 29th January 2010, from 4pm to 8pm, at the NTU Sports & Recreation Centre (SRC) Swimming Pool. This activity is where participants will swim as many laps as possible, in exchange for attractive lap gifts.
All registered swimmers will also be entitled to a goodie bag. The registration fee for this event will be $4 per person, and you can come down to the event venue to register on the event date.
The Second segment is the Sundown Swimathon, which will be held from 10pm, 29th January 2010, to 7am, 30th January 2010, at the NTU Sports & Recreation Centre (SRC) Swimming Pool. This event is only applicable to teams of 5 people, comprising of at least 1 female swimmer.
All registered swimmers who completes the event will be entitled to an event T-shirt, a finisher medal, and a goodie bag. The top 3 teams who accumulate the most number of laps completed will also be awarded attractive prizes.
The registration fee for this event will be $100 per team of 5 swimmers, and registration can be done at our booth during Sports Expose on the following dates:
- 21st and 22nd January 2010 outside LT1A (Canteen A) from: 10am to 5pm
Registration for the Sundown Swimathon will be on a first-come-first-served basis, with places for only 16 teams.
All participants are required to read and complete the attached terms and conditions, registration forms, and indemnity forms before registering for the events.
