'SCOOP UP!!!'

We 'scooped up' last year and we did very well, in terms of unity and the super close ties that we have in our ULC family life...

Still edible, results of many hands that mess the scoops, still fragrant with the warmness of ULC family ties....So, Sunday, 21 Feb at 4.30pm for dinner at the Coughing Hill ...OK?
4 dishes from me, the rest you all settle.........
Of course , Mr. Ang Pow will be waiting for you all.

Horny goat weed

Omg.. I just kopped a carton of Naughty G energy drink from the Waterpolo finale today.... Initially I strongly believed that the horny goat weed was just a herb and we could use for the swimathon despite KJS and all saying that it sounds wrong... plus, according to wikipedia, "Epimedium, also known as Rowdy Lamb Herb, Barrenwort, Bishop's Hat, Fairy Wings, Horny Goat Weed, or Yin Yang Huo (Chinese: 淫羊藿)) is just a herb.

But after doing more searches online, I found out that KJS was right. (Just google "Horny goat weed", you'll get what I mean)

So...... We shall not use it for the sundown swimathon. (Lucky got redbull from last year's splashdown!) And umm, I honestly do not know what to do with the whole carton... :/ Hai~

Any ideas what we should do to it? Anybody wants? It's green tea flavour :p

Update on $V00 job

Somehow the pulling of the canvas is the FIRST OPENING item on the Chingay. Meaning that we are PERFORMERS! BUT you will be required to do only one thing..................... POSE!

8 guys, 4 a side will pull out 2 canvas. So actually only 2 guys need to run, the other 2 just stand there and POSE. That explains why we need rehearsals because the DUDEs running need to follow music cue plus the fact that there will be about 1000 dancers dancing around us before we pull the canvas out. The description of the guys they are looking for is TRADITIONAL CHINESE LOOKING GUYS!!!! can we highlight this to our LS123 and BM classes? :)

Here is also the explanation why girls are not invited. Guys you are being paid $V00 cause you most probably will be appearing half naked on national TV but among 1000 dancers. :) we are the first item, on Chingay night itself we got to "perform the act of posing and pulling the canvas" twice. Once at the F1 venue and the other time some where else.

So here are more details:
Dates of rehearsal : 15th Jan FRIDAY
6th Feb SATURDAY
18th Feb THURSDAY
19th Feb FRIDAY
20th Feb SATURDAY
Venue: Old PA @ Kallang

Duration of rehearsal: TBC (how long do we need to learn when to run and Pose????)
All at night

Look out for more updates.

Thursday, January 7, 2010

$$500 EACH to be earned.

Chingay is looking for 7 strong guys to pull a big piece of canvas out onto the road so a DUDE can write something on it! There will be 5 rehearsal sessions. all at night including the chingay itself.

Please let me know if you are interested. its really and easy job and im looking for kaki to go along!

cheers
