The 3 'S' - Our Beach Intro

Thousands lights shone when we have our Beach Intro....

Saturday beach intro was heart warming with so many newbie turned up.
Many have the first taste of open water lifesaving and learn it thru the fun way.

They were fed with skills in rescuing and competition.....
Beach sprint workouts, flags, use of fins & torpedo tube in rescue tube rescue, line throw, basic board paddling, skis, board rescue etc...

Looking after the huge amount of bags was indeed a tedious task as the area was packed with many holiday makers...

Thanks to the old birds and the seniors....
MT, NT, LYW, NH, KJS, CTM, TYR, CG, NN, PYJ, CJM, YKJ, NXY, XYW, LyK, CS, GZ, KML, WFJ, SC, HSJ.......

Everyone was so engrossed with the activities and forgot to take picture!! so use last year photos.....

Your presence, inlvovement, participatition, shows, performance at the beach with the Sun, Sand & Sea bring joys and happiness to our ULC family...

I have reserved 40 seats (additional 10) for all non awardees, all Lifesaving awardees mentioned below will be allocated with seats.

Our Men team did very well, so they are awarded with the top award - MERIT Award for Best Performance.

All awardees must put on appropriate formal attire --NO slippers, sandals, sports shoes, jeans...
Guys - Long pants, shoe, long sleeve and tie.
Girls - Your best night dress
Suggest - let me boring - wear your NUS track top over your shirt and tie!!

Those non awardees who are unable to attend, please give reasons, otherwise I will keep on nagging at you like what I do to KJS --ask him not to apply oil in his hands, silly blurr song...

ok, the poll is up.

if ur favorite colour is same as ctm and ris low, vote RED
if u support climate change, vote GREEN
if u think u can "soar across the waves" like ctm, vote BLUE
if u think the ULC guys can pull off a feminine colour, vote PINK

hey ppl

for teamNUS nite, i was juz thinking, will everyone be interested in a colour scheme for that nite?
just a suggestion, to show "team spirit", "cohesiveness", "togetherness"... no lah, juz for fun.

dun worry, im not suggesting some obiang colour combi, like rad, khaki green or something that goes "boomz".
just a simple black, white and another colour (green, blue, red etc.) this means that for guys and gals, only 3 colours in the total outfit, of any shade.

of course this is just a suggestion, if there are enuff positive responses, i can try to come up with a poll and decide the whole thing by this weekend, so as to give ppl with only free tshirts in their closet to mobilise their wardrobe for next sat.

btw, anyone still interested in the traditional pre teamNUS nite mahjong session? haha

US: well, u have to think about it really hard, whether u really wanna go..

BIMJU: yeaa...i think about it very long le..but i dunno how to think!
