This coming Sunday, 2 Aug will be another gathering for all of us, whether competing, officiating, SKPing, it will always be a joyous occasion to be together.

Cherish every moment that you will have and it will go down that 'memories lanes' as you continue to growth and become 'big shots' either in the corporate world or heading a family.

I’m not asking for much, just do your best and that it's enough.
Winning is just 10 minute of joys, as the saying goes -- kaki/teammates is for competition, family in Lifesaving is for life and that what teamNUS Lifesaving can offer!

Remember we are not just swimmers, runners, canoeists we are Lifesavers!

The morning shift is from 0900 to 1200 and the afternoon shift is from 1330 to 1730 (pai seh... i made a mistake...not till 4pm).

Desire. Drive. Determination.

This is what someone manage to fish out of their photo album today. When I saw it, the picture reminded me of the 3Ds I was once taught. DESIRE. DRIVE. DETERMINATION.
By the way this photo was taken in 2006, its now 2009 and its only been 3 yrs.

DESIRE - a longing or craving, as for something that brings satisfaction or enjoyment.

DRIVE - to strive vigorously toward a goal or objective

DETERMINATION - a fixed purpose or intention

3 amzing years of growing fat but thats not the worst about it. Its the fact that I accepted it(growing fat). I totally lost the desire, drive and determination to do my best. It sips into you slowly, at first you are defensive and then you start to get use to it.

well, its 2 more weeks to THE nationals. I have now found the 3Ds again. I am posting this praying that none of us will make ourself believe we CANNOT, because we CAN if we say we can. Lets use the 3Ds and show the rest just how high we can fly.

I remember at the start I said "After training with the swim team and the lifesaving team I felt a difference" just want to let you guys know, that difference is LIFESAVERS ARE A FAMILY... Thanks for including me in the family...TIG woke me up...
