this batch of BM takers have about 2 weeks to go before their BM test on 12 november. recently, they underwent a 1.5 hours threading water theory lesson. as a result of shock (lack of oxygen to the vital organs due to the collapse of the circulatory system), these are a few answers they gave:

Hello people,

the turnout for the beach introduction session was quite good. it was a good opportunity for ulc as a whole to interact, as evidenced by crystal going around trying to remember the names of the new members (and promptly forgetting most of them a few moments later). there is more to lifesaving beyond the pool at NUS, and the photos below show our new members coming to grips with the open water events. it is here where we see that lifesavers are NOT just swimmers. there are a variety of events which require a range of other skills too.

i would like to take this opportunity to encourage the members of ulc to come down for training conducted by mr sim. for the ls 123 and bm people who don't know who i'm referring to, he's our coach and he's the one who taught you guys about the open water yesterday.

anyway, hope to see more new faces at training!

"deplorable state of morals"

i totally agree with kjs, this blog is stagnating.. in fact ctm has asked me to post something so that he doesnt see his previous post and feel sad (dun worry ctm, we all still heart you, its the season of love~!) 

i would like to comment on the current state of ULC and as the title suggest, a rather "distressing" stage we are going through. it seems to me that now that competitions are over, out members have turned their attention (and ahem, energy) on other "pursuits". dun worry, im not only referring to you, im referring to ATLEAST 5 different ppl currently "enamoured" with their above mentioned "pursuits". it seems like the energy level since before competition is still there in our members, just that some of it has been channeled to other activites which provide higher SATISFACTION. it does not help that some one has been giving out heart shaped sweets to encourage the vast release of pheromones in the NUS SRC vicinity. one important and particularly "worrisome" trend is that number of attached ULC members are gradually surpassing the number of single members, more yet to come in the coming months (i predict). what is happening!?!?!?

o, pls be reminded that this saturday is teamNUS sports award. award recipients pls arrive by 330pm. ppl coming for the free food (and 5 star chicken rice after that... lol) pls be there at 430pm. dress code: formal. expected to end ard 7ish.

 on another side note, we are trying to organise 01 x mahjong session b4 teamNUS nite. 10am - 230pm at my place.. limited lunch provided. so far we got kjs, ctm and wfj..crystal coming for fun....  need abt 2 more? sms me personally ah. first come first serve.
