Invitationals 2008

Nonetheless, just wanna put in a few words on my thoughts from yesterday's competition...
To those who had their 1st taste of competition yesterday,
Great job for the tenacity and courage you have shown in exhibiting your best performances under a stressful and new environment. Well Done!
To those who had stumbled a little yesterday,
Pls Do Not Give Up! This is only the beginning of the competition season, the beginning of the many races to come by. The road may be tough, but remember, the tough gets going.
To those who had helped out in a way or another yesterday,
Thank you, thank you and thank you. Cause I dunno how else I can express my gratitude for the chance of being part of this great family. Year after year I see ULC members (young and old) coming back to help out, to chip in an encouragement or two.... to make this a family affair and a successful event......
Despite getting my 1st disqualification in my 4 years of lifesaving competition (apart from rope throw.... I DNF that a couple of times I must say..haha), yesterday was one of my most happy competitions.
Thank You ULC. This will go down as a record in my memory for many years to come. I hope the same goes for you too. =)
Cheers
