Dear All,
It was with a sad and heavy heart to inform you all that Jeff Morley has passed away after a long battle with cancer.
He passed away in his hometown of Hobart, Tasmania.
Our most heartfelt condolence & sympathy to Jeff’s wife Michele and family.
Please see below mail send by Tony.
Many will remember him when we were in Darwin for the Arafura games in 2001, 2005 and 2007.
He was always smiling with open arms and welcome us when we were there for the games.
Memories start flowing back when I received the news from Tony, I do remember him as a excellent commentator with wonderful ‘laughter’ voice, as if you are in a horse race course, he is also an excellent administrator, helping all teams in the lifesaving trainings and competition at Mindil and Casuarina and he also ferry us to the Darwin Surf club for trainings and BBQ gathering in his tight squeeze truck…
Actually, we are hoping to meet up him this coming May……..
We will observe a 1 minute silence for Jeff during our trainings tonight.
Attached are the photos with Jeff, those are the happy memories that we have together.
